The Nokia N73 is a quad-band GSM world phone that has officially been described as a multimedia computer by its manufacturers. The device is loaded with many software applications like a full web browser based on KHTML/Webkit, a Microsoft Office document viewer, a Visual FM Radio, picture & video galleries, an IM client and games. The camera phone is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera.
The smart phone is able to simultaneously run many of its applications in the background. For example, you may listen to music while browsing the Internet and then may switch to write an e-mail or a text message without having to close any application. The N73 supports access via Bluetooth and USB Mass Storage, which means you can transfer a large number of files to and from it through Bluetooth compatible devices. The N73 uses a database system for the supplied Gallery applications which can be updated locally on the device itself. This simply means that you can place video & audio files and supported images anywhere in the file system and easily browse them.
